The port of Hamburg is one of the largest worldwide and busy all around the clock. No matter what time of day/night you peek over to the harbour, the scenery is always fascinating – I like it especially at night when everything is so beautifully illuminated. As Hamburg is a hanseatic town, water plays a major role – be it the Elbe river, the Alster lake, the numerous bridges (actually we have the most bridges in all of Europe) or of course the harbour. Hence it’s safe to say that the maritime look is a wardrobe essential and naturally exists in almost everyone’s closet.
This outfit of course plays with the classical combination of blue, white and red with some gold details. However, the heels and blouse give some variety to the common pin-striped shirt + boat shoe outfit you can spot here and there.
